ANASTASI – "it is more blessed to give than to receive"

We started from the evidence of the dramatic period that the whole world is experiencing, and as we have done other times in difficult moments, we remembered what our parents taught us:

“To receive, you must give” and that “you gain more by giving than by receiving.”

From this came the idea, together with our oenologist Attilio Pagli (https://www.matura.net/portfolio_page/attilio-pagli/), to produce a new wine, in a limited quantity – 758 numbered bottles: it is a cuvée of pure Sorbara, refermented in the bottle, obtained from the blend of a 2017 base (a small family reserve), which rested for 2 years in a tonneau, and a Leclisse 2019 base.

Aware that the food emergency, already widespread in our country for some time, is now becoming and will become increasingly urgent, we decided to donate the proceeds from the sale to Banco Alimentare.
The Fondazione Banco Alimentare Onlus is a non-profit organization, established in 1989, with the aim of combating food waste and promoting solidarity towards the most vulnerable people in society, helping them concretely through the gift of food. (https://www.bancoalimentare.it/it)

These bottles will be sold for €50 each and thanks to the contribution of our suppliers and the support of partners or sponsors, we will try to donate all the proceeds. (click here to purchase)

Thanks to the artist Fabrizio Loschi (https://www.facebook.com/fabrizio.loschi.7) this wine will be represented by one of his works, Anàstasi; which means Resurrection and rebirth. This very "rebirth" is our wish for everyone.
