"When I finished my studies, my father asked me what I wanted to do with my life.
My answer was that I wanted to keep alive the work tradition that my grandfather Achille had begun in 1926, and which he and my mother had already been running for 40 years.
In 1998, together with my wife Barbara, I began managing the winery directly, betting on the production of the first pure Sorbara.
Since then, I have been tending and vinifying 17 hectares of vineyards in the historic Cristo di Sorbara area, the narrowest strip of land nestled between the Secchia and Panaro rivers, the two waterways that embrace the province of Modena."
