There are collaborations that arise from a well-defined project and others that take shape from a simple phone call.
Ours with Bloom – Naturalmente Gelato began exactly like that. Between July and August, Gianluca Degani contacted us to share an idea: working with our wines to create ice creams and sorbets capable of telling the story of Lambrusco from a different point of view.
Gianluca is the founder of Bloom, an ice cream parlor in Modena that for years has been conducting careful research into raw materials and the possibilities of artisanal gelato. A body of work that has earned him the "Tre Coni" (Three Cones) award from the Gambero Rosso Gelaterie d’Italia guide for nine consecutive years.
It is precisely this attention to quality, research, and the local area that unites us. Two different worlds, that of wine and that of gelato, sharing the same necessity: starting with quality raw materials, knowing them thoroughly, and enhancing them through one’s work.
From our centenary to a new project
The first meeting was our centenary, where Gianluca brought some ice creams and sorbets made from our products.
A first taste of a broader collaboration, which has since also become a friendship.
Now the project continues in Modena, with a thematic week dedicated to the encounter between Lambrusco and gelato.
A week dedicated to Lambrusco
From September 21st to 27th, Bloom will host a selection of ice creams and sorbets inspired by our wines and the local area.
The journey devised by Gianluca explores different interpretations of Lambrusco: from must to saba, from pure sorbets to zabaglione gelato, and other creative flavors.
A way to discover our products through a new perspective, where wine becomes an ingredient and a starting point for research that goes beyond the glass.
Wednesday, September 23rd: an evening together
As part of the thematic week, on Wednesday, September 23rd, we will be at Bloom for a special evening dedicated to the encounter between his gelato and our wines.
The program includes a tasting menu of about 10 Lambrusco-themed gelatos, accompanied by a selection of our wines.
The evening is already sold out, but for those in and around Modena, it will be possible to discover the collaboration throughout the week, from September 21st to 27th, directly at Bloom.
